ALLIED ARTS :: WATERFRONT
Waterfront For All

from "What type of transportation infrastructure should replace the viaduct?" to "What should we do with the neighborhood we call the waterfront?"
Our work with the City of Seattle and the State Department of Transportation has generated new engineering and design solutions that will improve the connections between the waterfront and adjacent neighborhoods, once the viaduct is removed.
At the Allied Arts Waterfront Design Collaborative, teams of architectural designers, planners and historians produced "Waterfront Visions" that inspired the public and decision makers to realize the waterfront could be a destination, and not just a transportation corridor.
