WALK, BIKE, RIDE | Getting There From Here (And, Meet The Evening's Challenge!)
Join us on July 20th from 7-9 pm for this compelling discussion at the second event of our Public Square Salon series. Through these Salons, folks are invited to share their views on a variety of topics which may lead to further civic action.
Walk, Bike, Ride is a vision of the Mayor's office advocating for the future of sustainable transportation from walking and biking to riding transit, to promote the health of Seattle communities.
Seattle is at a turning point in transportation and how we define and connect with our great public spaces.
How do we best prioritize walking, biking and transit with how we use our streets and promote sustainable, great public spaces?
CAN we get there from here?
How can great public spaces thrive with integrated transit options?
What changes are needed to make this happen?
NOW, MEET THE Evening's CHALLENGE! For the guest who travels the most complex route or longest distance to attend this event using any of the WBR modes, there will be a special gift for you!
Please join us for a lively conversation.
Jeff Pelletier, Chair of The Public Square, Seattle Chapter will kick off the event.
Paul Crane, Co-Chair - Salon Committee Opening remarks
Deputy Mayor, Darryl SmithRebecca Deehr, Policy Advisor, Mayor's Office Bill Bryant, SDOT
